Curfew

Couvre-feu

In 2002, in Cรดte d’Ivoire, in a country broken by civil war, Blandine, a young pregnant
woman, faces a critical situation: her labor begins at nightfall, under a strict curfew.
With no access to medical care, she and her husband, Lionel, are forced to search
desperately for help. In their small neighborhood, where mistrust and fear reign,
neighbors from diverse communities and beliefs are gradually drawn into this journey
to save Blandine and her baby. Between tensions linked to social divisions, life under
the threat of war and unexpected outbursts of solidarity, everyone must overcome their
own prejudices to contribute to this vital mission. This intimate drama highlights the
strength of human bonds and the capacity for resilience in a world where humanity
falters. In the midst of darkness, life and hope try to triumph against all odds.
